OIL




CHILLI AND GARLIC OIL


Flavoured oils are incredibly useful, and very easy to make. I have to say that I do not like pre-made, store-bought ones, the flavor is weak and the oil poor.
The oils are great in dressings, or simply added to dishes for that extra kick

Once made they can be used straight away or stored in a dark cupboard for about a week.


CHILLI OIL

200ml extra virgin olive oil
a couple of large red chillies

chop the chillies very finely and remove the seeds. put into a jar and add the olive oil (for stronger flavour, heat slightly)


GARLIC OIL

200ml extra virgin olive oil
about 10 garlic cloves

Peel and chop the garlic finely. place in a jar and clover with olive oil.. give a good shake.
